Nevada Parents Already Have School Choice

Proponents of school vouchers often tout the need for “school choice” as a reason to turn to ESA vouchers, a program that would take scarce resources away from the 460,000 students in the public school system. But does rejecting this controversial program mean families are left without a choice? The truth is, parents and students have been exercising choice for decades in Nevada, while always having the option to attend their neighborhood school.
