Statement from ENN on the recent ruling in private school voucher court case

Joint statement from attorneys for the plaintiffs in Lopez v Schwartz, the lawsuit filed by Nevada parents to stop private school vouchers, on Friday’s ruling in the ongoing case:

“No matter how you slice it, this give-taxpayer-money-to-rich-people scheme is dead. The 2017 Legislature might consider a new scheme with a new separate appropriation for a similar giveaway. However, money that is allocated to private school vouchers takes away from public education.
