What:
Fund Our Future Nevada is a coalition made up of parent, teacher and community organizations fighting to ensure Nevada students receive a quality education so that schools have adequate funds to provide all the appropriate and necessary resources for student success.
Why:
Nevada ranks towards the bottom in the nation in funding K-12 education and was given a D- for its education funding by the QUALITY COUNTS REPORT. Since 2009 when accounting for inflation, per pupil funding in Nevada has remained flat, even while costs and demands for student achievement continue to rise. If we are not willing to increase funding and resources we cannot expect an increase in student achievement.
